Downton Abbey Themed Butlers/Maids School

This event highlighted the similarities between the operations of a house as we see in popular television vs. a southern mansion. This after hours ticketed event sold out and had a wait list. Participants learned the basics responsibilities of Butler, Housekeeper, and Ladies Maid at the turn of the century. Guests played games of matching the Victorian serving pieces to the food item it was made for. Dressed a Edwardian lady, and had the opportunity to get up close and personal with our collection and inside access to rooms not normally open to the public.
