About Jesse

A Jesse in a 1920's tuxedo walking in an ornate, historic lobby with patterned floors, intricate wall and ceiling decorations, and a large chandelier.

Jesse Williams is a Tennessee native with a wide rage of experiences in the museum and non profit organizations. Whether he is working with a museum or historic theatre, Jesse brings passion and expertise. His degree in business administration with a concentration in hospitality and tourism, paired with his experience in the museum field gives him a unique approach to programs, and displays. While museum and industry standards are important to follow Jesse also enjoys finding unique ways to make displays and programs fun and engaging. Finding ways to include people who often feel excluded by the broader history world is also a driving passion for his projects. Whether its collections management, staff management, or event logistics he always strives to make sure the people around him feel seen and appreciated.

Jesse has collected things most of his life with the hopes of one day starting his own museum. While he is currently a full time student pursuing his Bachelors degree in American History, and until he can afford to buy his own farm, or find a land owner who is willing to work with him to bring virtual programming to the screen. He hopes to utilize his YouTube page, collection and this website to start doing more educational videos and virtual programs.

Check out his Family History page to find out why he feels so passionately about history and historic preservation.
