75th Anniversary of D-Day

This was a one day temporary exhibit which expanded the interpretation of the Belle Meade Historic Site past its normal focus of 1807-1907. This exhibit showcased the adult life of William Harding Jackson Jr. and his roll in operation overlord. It also featured the Caldwell family which owned the mansion at the time of World War II. Items from my personal collection were used to highlight the experience on the Homefront.
